Every day we work to enhance the water resource in all our territories.
The integrated water service is managed in the provinces of Genoa, Savona, La Spezia, Parma, Piacenza, Reggio Emilia and Vercelli among other provinces in northern Italy.

Through a network of aqueducts of over twenty thousand kilometres, Iren distributes almost 277 Mm³ of water from heterogeneous supply sources.

We supply drinking water to a catchment area of 2.74 million people in approximately 240 municipalities. We guarantee the availability of the resource and continuity of the service.

Constantly monitored water quality requirements

Water is checked daily by IrenLab laboratories, which take over 56 thousand samples and analyse 858 thousand parameters on drinking water and waste water for the safety of citizens.

Sewerage management and purification activities

With 11,162 km of sewerage network and more than 1,300 plants Iren ensures high purification efficiencies, with technologies that adapt to the needs of the area where the plants are located.

To increase the efficiency and effectiveness of management processes 

The Iren network engineering division offers network service operators a wide range of services, including the division of the Innovation networks into districts.

The integrated water cycle consists of the water, sewerage and wastewater treatment services. In turn, the aqueduct service is subdivided into the capturing, purification, adduction and distribution of drinking water.

To conclude a water service contract, you need to fill in the online form available in the dedicated section: consult it to find out all the information you need and activate the supply. 

To activate a new water supply contract with Acam Acque, Manager of the Integrated Water Service in the Province of La Spezia, it is necessary to fill in the online request in the dedicated section or download the form available by clicking here and, after filling it in, send it according to the instructions therein. Alternatively, you can contact the Water Customer Service at 800 96 96 96 (Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.) or go to the customer desk in Via Picco, 18 - La Spezia (Monday to Friday from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. and Saturday from 8.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.).
